Must hold Republic of China (ROC) nationality and be registered in Taiwan, and meet at least one of the following criteria:

(1) Possess a Ministry of Education (MOE) Chinese Language Teaching Certificate for Foreigners.

(2) Hold a master's degree (or higher) from an accredited public or private university in Taiwan or an overseas university recognized by the MOE, meet the language proficiency requirements as outlined in the MOE’s Chinese Language Teaching Certification guidelines, and have teaching experience in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.

Preference will be given to candidates who meet the following criteria:

(1) Experience in overseas teaching.

(2) Ability to work independently and plan courses.

(3) Strong English language skills and ability to provide relevant proof.

(4) Willingness to work abroad as a teacher.

Assist in the implementation of NTUT's Taiwan Huayu Best Program at New Jersey Institute of Technology, including the following tasks:

1. Offer Chinese language courses, organize Chinese language teaching enhancement programs, and conduct language workshops.

2. Assist in the promotion and recruitment for the Huayu Best Scholarship Program and short-term Chinese language study tours.

3. Promote NTUT's online Chinese language courses and assist in the digitization of teaching materials.

4. Collaborate with overseas offices to promote and administer the TOCFL (Test of Chinese as a Foreign Language) for Chinese language proficiency.

5. Assist in organizing extracurricular and cultural activities, including Taiwanese cultural experience events at NJIT.

6. Participate in professional development activities arranged by NJIT and attend related departmental and school meetings.

1. Ministry of Education Subsidy:

(1) Monthly living allowance of $1,600 USD (calculated based on the actual number of teaching days).

(2) One round-trip economy class flight from Taiwan to the teaching location, reimbursed up to $1,750 USD.

(3) One-time teaching material subsidy of $300 USD for initial employment.

1. Partner University Salary (calculated based on actual teaching period):

(1) Annual salary of $16,000 USD (for two semesters, excluding the summer period).

(2) Health insurance: $2,000 USD.
