📌Responsibilities: Assist with relevant tasks at the NJIT as part of the implementation of our university's Taiwan Huayu BEST Program.

Program Overview

Teaching Location New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT), USA
Contract Duration September 2025 to May 2026 (Extension negotiable with university)
Eligibility
  • ROC (Taiwan) citizen with household registration
  • Meet one of the following:
    • Holder of MOE Mandarin Teaching Certificate
    • Master's degree from recognized institution, meet MOE requirements, and have teaching experience
  • Preferred qualifications:
    • Overseas teaching experience
    • Ability to work independently and design curriculum
    • Strong English proficiency (with proof)
    • Willing to teach abroad
Job Description
  • Teach Mandarin, organize workshops and training
  • Promote scholarships and short-term study programs
  • Promote online courses, assist in digitalizing materials
  • Collaborate with overseas institutions on TOCFL testing
  • Assist NJIT with extracurricular/cultural events
  • Participate in school-organized professional development activities
Salary & Benefits From Taiwan MOE:
  • USD 1,600/month living subsidy (based on actual teaching days)
  • One-time round-trip airfare subsidy (up to USD 1,750)
  • One-time teaching material subsidy of USD 300
From NJIT:
  • Annual salary: USD 16,000 (2 semesters, excluding summer)
  • Health insurance: USD 2,000
