Refund Policy

Article 1: Purpose
This policy aims to establish clear guidelines regarding the refund conditions, procedures, and calculations for students enrolled in the Mandarin Training Center (hereinafter referred to as "the Center") to ensure fair and efficient administrative management.

Article 2: Scope of Application
This policy applies to students who have enrolled and completed payment for courses offered by the Center, including long-term programs, short-term programs, and other specific Mandarin courses.

Article 3: Refund Conditions

  1. Refund before the course starts:
    • Students who apply for a refund before the course start date are eligible for a 90% refund of the paid tuition fee, with an administrative processing fee deducted.
  2. Refund after the course starts:
    • If the course has started but less than one-third (1/3) of the total class hours have been completed, students may receive a 50% refund of the paid tuition.
    • If more than one-third (1/3) of the total class hours have been completed, no refund will be granted.
  3. Special circumstances:
    • If a student experiences a severe illness (with hospital documentation) or other force majeure circumstances (such as natural disasters or changes in government policies), a refund may be granted based on a proportional calculation or the tuition may be deferred to the next term, subject to the Center’s review and approval.

Article 4: Refund Procedure

  1. Students must complete the Refund Application Form and submit it along with supporting documents (such as receipts, proof of payment, or medical certificates).
  2. The refund request will be reviewed by the administrative office, and the refund will be processed within 10 to 15 working days.
  3. Refunds will be issued via the original payment method. If an international bank transfer is required, the student shall bear any associated transaction fees.

Article 5: Additional Regulations

  1. If a course is canceled by the Center due to reasons such as insufficient enrollment or instructor availability, students may choose to receive a full refund or transfer to another class.
  2. No refund or makeup class will be provided for students who miss classes due to personal reasons.
  3. The refund calculation is based on the date the student officially submits the application, not the actual class attendance.

Article 6: Supplementary Provisions
This policy takes effect upon its announcement. The Center reserves the right to make necessary amendments and will publish updates on its official website or notice board.
